The workshop aimed to enhance awareness of key Digital India initiatives, including DigiLocker, UMANG, UX4G, Cyber Security, the DPDP Act 2023, API Setu, ABC-NAD, and e-Sanjeevani. These topics were presented by officers from the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), who provided in-depth insights into their significance and applications.
In addition to the informative sessions, a special focus was placed on promoting open collaboration. A dedicated session was held to onboard students onto the OpenForge platform, encouraging them to contribute to and leverage this open-source initiative for collaborative development projects.
This event served as a valuable opportunity for the attendees to deepen their understanding of digital governance and explore avenues for active engagement in India's digital transformation journey.
